Amateur Allure can add two more trophies to their growing stack of wins. The fan and critic favorite picked up AVN Awards for Best Amateur/Pro-Am Movie for “Amateur POV Auditions 26” and Best Amateur/Pro-Am Series for “Amateur Introductions”. Their previous win was for Best Pro-Am Release for “Amateur POV Auditions 6” in 2015.
Amateur Allure has had a stellar year and received a total of eight AVN Awards nominations for their content that appears on their multiple sites and DVDs distributed through Jules Jordan Video. Ray Dark’s stellar work was also recognized with a Best Web Director nomination for the 4th year in a row.

Amateur Allure has garnered many nominations from AVN, XBIZ, and the XRCOs. In 2014 through 2016, they received 4 XBIZ Awards noms, 13 AVN Awards nominations and an XRCO Awards nom for their DVDs, and Ray Dark received three AVN Award nominations for Best Web Director. They have garnered three AVN Awards trophies for Best Pro-Am Release for “Amateur POV Auditions”, Best Amateur/Pro-Am Movie for “Amateur POV Auditions 26″, and Best Amateur/Pro-Am Series for “Amateur Introductions”, along with a 2016 Rise Award for Amateur Site of the Year.
Ray Dark started in adult entertainment in 2000 doing camera and music work for legendary 1970s Golden Age director Bob Chinn. Soon after, Ray entered the blogosphere doing photography and media work, eventually moving on to shooting content in the early 2000s. In 2008, he became the director for Internet giant Amateur Allure.
In 2015, he helped launch Swallow Salon as a producer/director. Ray was nominated for Best Web Director at the AVN Awards for 2014 through 2017 and the Swallow Salon site has been recognized with a 2016 and 2017 AVN Award nominations for Best Oral Sex Scene.
